The red-winged black bird symbolizes 'danger ahead'...warning fellow brethren and even other bird species of impending danger. //Used _India Ink _Coffee _0.5 ball point pen _graphite _scanned, combined, color added via hue adjustments in photoshop. Thanks to  for the model reference! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Wait is it digital? Wow. ^_^ You've got the brush look down very well! This is an amazing picture. The subtle colors and the tone, and then the contrast between that and the woman and the bird. Both of which are done very well I might add... Good job!
